INFO ON BENIDORM

Benidorm is a vacation spot in the Valencia region and the province of Alicante. Famous for its beaches and busy night-life, the city is one of the Mediterranean's most popular destinations.

Benidorm's hotel infrastructure is extensive and the city's many visitors have a range of 1 to 5 star hotels to choose from all year long.

Benidorm is the prime vacation choice along the Spanish Mediterranean coast and is equipped to handle millions of Spanish and foreign tourists. The buildings, avenues and streets which make up the city's urban structure were designed specifically to provide a modern vacation and entertainment getaway. The little Canfalli hill which stretches out on the Benidorm point, divides the coast into two beautiful and fine sandy beaches: the Playa Levante and the Playa Poniente. The five kilometres of sidewalk which runs along these beaches allow walkers to admire the wonderful view of this stretch of the Alicante coast. On the Playa Levante, the first to have undergone urban transformation, one can stop to enjoy a cocktail and dinner in front of a beautiful sunset while seated at the terrace of one of the many outdoor cafés. On Playa Poniente, which ends in what's known as La Cala, is renowned for its clean waters and sand. Hotels for every budget are to be found everywhere.

Benidorm profits from a typically Mediterranean climate and warm temperatures. The average summer temperature is 26° Celsius. Average winter temperatures range around 12° Celsius, and the yearly average temperature is a nice 18° Celsius.
