A strong young man at a construction site was bragging that he could outdo anyone in a feat of strength.

He made a special target of an older worker.

"Why don't you put your money where your mouth is?" the older worker said.

"I'll bet a week's wages that I can push something in that wheelbarrow, all the way over to that building, and you won't be able to push it back."

"You're on, old man," the braggart replied. "Let's see what you got."

The old man reached out and grabbed the wheelbarrow by the handles. Then, nodding to the young man, he said, "All right. Get in."

Site Announcement
LUGGAGE THEFT WARNING
THE British Consulate has advised travellers to be on alert when they arrive at Alicante, Valencia and San Javier airports, due to a surge in luggage theft.

The problem has apparently grown to such an extent that it now features on the travel advice sheets issued by the Foreign Office.

The consulate has warned people they should be careful when picking up a rental car as they may be followed to their destination. Thieves have been known to let down a tyre and in the confusion of offering help get away with luggage

There is also instances where an 'old lady' will 'collapse' in front of your luggage trolly as if you had run into her, while you rush to assist he accomplice steals a bag or two from the trolly.
